workplace discrimination tattoos
Is this employment discrimination?
I work in a fast food restaurant, been there a little over a year. A few months ago A, made the rule that nobody could dye your hair a strange color. And now his word. That we must cover our tattoos. When I started there, my hair was as black as the night was not naturally black. And he never said anything about him until last few months. Same thing with the tattoos, I have three. Customers / coworkers / Directors have really enjoyed my tattoos. He asked me what they meant and now suddenly just because you can see that I have tattoos on my wrists I have to hide.
LOL … there is no such thing as discrimination against the color of hair or tattoos. Companies can change their dress, appearance code at any time do what they want. If you do not like the changes, you are free to change jobs.
