ok im about to join the air force need to know if my tattoo forbids me join?

This is a tattoo of the Bible is on my forearm outside of my hand to my wrist .. I may enter?

Recently I just joined the air force and I was worried too because I have two sleeves half that fall just above my elbow … what my recruiter told me, have a new policy on tattoos in the Air Force, basically, can not be visible with the suit you wear short sleeves … if a tattoo touched his hand to … the remaining time in the service you always have to wear long sleeves to cover the tattoo for the rest of his time in service … Hope this helps
