tattoo t shirts uk

How do I cover my tattoo while working in a hospital?
I just started a degree that requires me to undertake internships clinics in hospitals in the United Kingdom. My problem is that I have a large tattoo on my arm, I'm not bothered if the ethical argument I must be allowed to show as I want to keep hidden in my work. My problem is that since I am I started to realize NHS policy for short sleeves due to MRSA, etc. I really do not want to remove it as I love and to be honest I can not help you, Above all, I approach the university or hospital has anyone else had a similar experience or got any advice? Will I be allowed to wear a shirt that I designed is their way or I can hide it during training? Thank you in advance
In the hospital where I work in East Anglia we are not allowed to cover your arms between wrist and elbow with coated clothing etc. due to infection (I phoned and spoke to fight against infections). Part of our infection control policy states that unless the tattoo is not offensive, so it can be discovered. I have two tattoos, one on the inside of my left wrist and one on the outside of my right wrist. There will always be people who want to have their say so! Please e-mail and let me know how u get on Vicki
