Tattoo behind the ear or the foot?

I am interested in getting my first tattoo and can not decide whether would be better to go on my foot (outside of my foot, not near the toes or something) or behind the ear. Who has a Either of these elements? Has it disappeared? How did he hurt? Would you recommend?

I have a tattoo in both places, but my foot tattoo covers the entire top of my foot. I have nine tattoos (feet, arms, legs, back, chest, behind the ear), and tattoo injured foot more than any of them. The tattoo foot is the only one I actually filled with tears at the reception (and believe me, chest kills!). I think the thing about walking is that the skin is very thin and it's just a very bony area. My foot tattoo faded some, but I think it was because the first time it was made was not very "deep" (the artist was light-handed, and probably also trying to save me some pain). I touched up a year later and have not had to do since (and that's two years). Now, you'll probably think I'm exaggerating, but the tattoo behind my ear did not hurt at all. Seriously. My tattoo artist said he is not much nerves in this area. However, I have heard people say that their tattoo it hurts. But mine did not at all, it actually felt good and I am determined to get one behind the other ear. The tattoo will fade, but it was a fluke, it had something to do with ink. I touched up a few months later, the artist has used a different brand of ink and it has not disappeared at all. I recommend either tattoo. But since this is your first tattoo, I went with the one behind the ear if I were you. Less painful (very likely) and both easy to conceal and easy to show. It is an interesting place for a tattoo too.
