foot tattoos hurt

We've all seen the infamous "MySpace photos." A young woman is taken from a high angle obscenely. A backlight lights so bright that is impossible to tell one of your facial features. His hair is perfect hairstyle to cover the eyes and half his face. The camera angle makes it impossible to know their body type. Are you looking to Aphrodite or Jabba the Hut? Nobody can say.

And I think that guys are immune to this phenomenon either. Boys will a closeup of his bicep tattoo of barbed wire, while conveniently leaving his face out of the frame. They'll put a camera in a clouded mirror so the picture result is only a silhouette of smoke. Or just post an old photo of Brad Pitt is in Google Images and hope no one notices that they are not.

Of all the lies perpetrated by the general public, one could argue that these "MySpace pics" are the worst and more frequent. And while putting a picture MySpace doubtful not really hurt anyone, this phenomenon becomes a major problem when these images are used for online dating profiles.

It is obvious why people do these things. They want to put your best foot forward, and when you're not a supermodel, people may judge harshly. Instead of getting out there is much safer and easier to send a blurry image, taken from a high angle, with a dazzling illumination. When you can not find what you look for as no one can criticize you.

But in reality, these pictures are much more harm to people than you think. Why? Because you are starting a relationship by lying. Oh, sure, everyone wants to present your best self to the opposite sex, but there is a difference between using your favorite photo and actively creating a new image that presents a misleading version of yourself. It is different from saying you're religious, when in fact you are an atheist, or say that you love dogs in the background when you are a secret cat. You are a liar and a fake and that it is a great way to start a relationship.

Moreover, these images do not even help. Sure, you get a wink or some extra messages or dates due to a better image, but if you are dating a person visually impaired, will finally see the real you. So now that you set an unrealistic idea of who you are. Not only are you leaving the door open for a let down, that is virtually guaranteed. I once heard a story about a boy who went on a date with someone from a dating site online, and when he arrived to the theater, could not find it, so I called his cell phone, only to discover that he was standing beside him all the time. He did not realize this because the girl does not look anything like your online image. He was deceived! This type of behavior does not pay. Is not it better to lower the bar and exceed expectations? Say you go on a date with a person who expects you to be mediocre and sought to become something beautiful. El Gordo, you're in

Try this: Next time you want a date, to sign a dating site. And this is a local dating site, say you're from Hartford, CT, and then use a target = "_self"> Connecticut dating site instead of one of its nationals. Next, put a candid picture of himself. You can use one of your best photos, but make it very honest. There's no smoke and mirrors, no blinding backlight, not emo haircuts that cover their eyes, and for heaven's sake somebody else to take the picture instead of 7-meter-long arm. You may be scared at first to put his true self out there online. But what is truly frightening is the prospect of ending bitter and alone, which is exactly what will happen if you try to trick your potential love interests. It's like the old saying, "If you have money or a very good car, it is best to make people love you for who you really are. "Stop lying and you will be fine. Good luck!
