Miley Ray Cyrus (born November 23, 1992 as Destiny Hope Cyrus) is a singer, songwriter and actress. Cyrus is best known for starring as the title character in the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. Following the success of Hannah Montana, in October 2006, a CD soundtrack was released in which she sang eight songs from the series. Cyrus was born Nashville, Tennessee on 23 November 1992 to Leticia "Tish" (née Finley) and country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. Cyrus has five children. His brothers more Trace and Brandi Cyrus Tish children from a previous relationship, whom Billy Ray adopted when they were young.
