"Certain types of moles have a greater risk of becoming malignant melanoma. Melanoma can be deadly because it can spread to other parts of the body. However, it can be cured in its early stages. It is very important to take preventive measures such as those outlined in SunAWARE and to observe changes in the skin and monitoring of doubtful or changing moles to a dermatologist as soon as possible, "explained Dr. Eisen.
