Tattoo license in CA?
What exactly is the law / rules to get a tattoo license (to become a professional tattooist, not owner a store) in the State of California? More precisely, Santa Rosa, California? How many months learning, school, certifications, etc etc?? Thank you!
i tattoo in Ventura County and get licensed, you just need to pay for permint health (130 $?) And a commercial license. the license has nothing to do with any training though … no test or anything. I know it's different LA County so it can be different for you. Learning to an I think the only way to legitimize through learning. mine lasted about 8 months.
